Saturday fun... Cinema for a change! Myself, Anna and Martin decided to do something civilised and not so party for a Saturday eve... We went to see HeartBreaker. I was pleasantly surprised it was so funny! I didn't know anything about this movie, I basically thought it was going to be a typical Hollywood Chick Flick...= Crap... it was French and F.U.N.N.Y and with some eyecandy (Romain Duris)! Highly recommend it if you want to go and see something easy and uplifting!

Was Strolling around London today, doing a bit of shopping... having coffees with my one of my best friends Lan... Went into a book shop to get some iNSPiRATiON.... bought NOI.SE and a graffitti book called HERAKUT - The perfect merge... LOVE iT!!!

Noi.se Is a magazine I normally get but Herakut I actually never heard of... but the graffitti art they do is amazing! is two artist collaborating together since 2004 check out their site!

Speaking of art... my very dear friend Lan has just published a book called MAKE UP IS ART... it was a while ago but it's really good and I am so proud of her for completing it. Ever since I got to know her she has had this book in the back of her mind and now it is finally out!

So So So sorry for not written in ageeeeeeeeeees! I have been in the middle of moving house and haven't had internet until recently! BT is the WORST PHONE COMPANY EVER!!! USELESS!!! RUBBISH!!!

Anyways let's go on to a more interesting subject: Concealer! I came across Bobbi Brown's concealer at the airport and thought I would try it.

It's a concealer that comes with a very sheer loose powder, all in one - clever eh!?!? I am not a huge fan of Bobbi Brown products in general, but what I have tried so far I like. I think it is just because I am not too familiar with their products that makes me not go fanatic over them but it might change! I love their foundation palette and lip palette they do (perfect for makeup artists = space saving!)

I like this concealer to... it's very light and creamy but it covers at the same time, it's perfect that the powder comes with it as it is space saving big time in your makeup bag. I probably wouldn't use it when I am working as the packaging is a bit annoying for my professional kit, but for personal use it is excellent. For anyone of you who likes Laura Mercier's concealers this is very similar texture wise...

Wolf and Badger new designer launch..

I went to Wolf and Badger boutique in Notting Hill - great concept - different designers hire a suitable space for 3 months so the shop is constantly changing - really good stuff as well - and loads of different designers!! I found some garments I loved and loads of amazing jewellery as well.. (I actually went back the following day and purchased a top and 2 pairs of earrings in there are still on my 'wish list'...

I went straight up to this dress and said 'soooo Rihanna' to my friend!! Funny enough, the designer went up to me 2 minutes later when she saw I photographed it and said; Ahh, you like my dress yeah?! I love that your are photographing it, I actually made this one for Rihanna... Haha.. I told her, I kind a new just when I saw it.. and she was loving it!!

Åsa, one of my best friends (I have known her since we were 6 years old..) that was visiting me from Sweden for a few days (she's kind of always visiting me so I'm sure she will be featured in this blog on a regular basis..).

Am I loving milk choc mixed with salt liquorice or what??!!! Salt liquorice and crisps is another fantastic mix. And It HAS to be SALT liquorice, the stuff you find here in the UK (like sweet licerice) is tastes like ☔♜♞⚡⚉➽₩... That's why we have the fabulous Swedish shop tho (slightly overpriced but hey, I'm still a regular..).

LOVE these cakes.. AMAZING... I tried some of the 'creations' and so yummy as well.. Normally it only looks good and taste sugar. I had some round fun looking thing on a stick and it was delicious.... Really loving these! Check em out, Gothic Cookie, the website aint that interesting tho but they are obviously very good at customising..

Being a stylist/fashion journalist etc you really want to check out all the new stuff that you'll work with for the next half a year in the PR's. So, all the PR's (the big ones with loads of different clients as well as the individual fashion houses therefore have press-days. It's normally for just one or two days when people in the industry can check out all the new collections before items are being sent out for shoots). It's also a lot of food, lunches, breakfasts, coffees, cakes, can be quick blow-dries and mini manicures etc etc and hey yeah, champagne (as always in the fashion world - even if NOT always glamorous.. remember.. ) and of course, the goodie bags.. But still, it's so not what it used to be like.. Recession recession.. :(

Met up with my girl Louise and went to an event in Jalouse (normally a night club and still one of those that can be quite fun even if I'm incredibly fed up with all the clubs in London - been there done that..) This early evening though, was the opening night for a pop-up store, The Convenience Store.

My girl, Louise and I'm loving her jump suit!! I'm in general a great fan of jump suits...

I was wearing Blouse from Anna Sui, Cheap Monday denims (now grey but used to be black.. These are the best stretch jeans I have ever bought from CM and these ones are from like one of the first collections they ever made when you were only able to get CM in Sweden, Swedish label for those who doesn't know..) They are amazing and super low cut.. Bangles and bracelets from a wide selection so aint gonna bother listing it - sorry.. Earrings CC Skye and shoes by Gina.

A few full on days in the studio.. This kind of job is not the most interesting styling job, look books, but sometimes I do still enjoy doing them even if it can be very stressful (of course, a lot of shoots are..) but you don't need to have your head as "screwed" on as for a "normal" shoot.. (That sounded very bad but I didn't mean it in that way, so I hope you g0t me...) The job was for Fila sportswear..

More events...

Lucy invited me to come along to the 115th Anniversary Tribute of Oscar Wilde's Arrest at the Cadogan Hotel on Sloane Street, Chelsea.. Speeches, champagne, canapés, more champagne, auction, champagne again, raffle and even more champagne..

So, no wonder we looked like this.. Haha, how bad is this pic.. Seriously, come on girls..

Found us in OK magazine the following week - both of us with open eyes even.. ;)

But, bad pic again tho & they have managed to make Lucy's face really long and mine really wide?!... It's normally one or the other so no idea how they managed to do that?....

Continued our evening with dinner at Zuma, which is definitely one of my favourite restaurants in London.. In the top 3 for sure.. Apparently after champagne you get hungry so we had loads of food but I kinda forgot that I had a camera so I only managed to get the first plate with the aubergine.. Hmmm, Anna, what you like...

I know, I know.. I'm a little behind with some events I have recently attended. I've got lot on at the moment.. but I thought I should show you guys a few events still...

Went to Jada Style's boutique Launch a few days ago.. Basically a shop packed with stuff for footballers with 'football style' etc.. Not cheap and not my cup of tea at all (style wise)..

Fun night though and a lot of people would have loved it coz I think more or less the whole Chelsea football club were in there and the shop is not very big..

It's a lot of bling bling in there (obviously) - you almost get blinded haha (that was a very bad one I know..haha)

Stephen (my friend who's a photographer), the charming one ;) remember him from London Fashion Week ;) .. This is just at the entrance with all the paparazzi's and loads of Chelsea fans that passed by the lil shop and realised what was actually going on in there.. A lot of the footballers were really sweet and came out and signed autographs etc..

Drogba (I'm not very good with the names here, I actually had to google his name and I know he's one of the top players in the world (?yeah??)..

The bar guys couldn't really keep up wit the drinks though.. And the bar was a proper 'bin' bar..

Me and Isabel probably ate 'all the food for the day in one go' in Daylesford Organic on Westbourne Grove the other day.. Check out the amount we ordered.. Piggy style or what?....

It's a great place where you can sit in the sun (some tables you have to pull out on the pavement though - those bloody awnings - hate them!!)

Got the bangle in Naples, Florida form Kate Spade and I'm loving it!! Such a fab colour.. And liking the message inside it, A penny for your thoughts..

When finally full ;), Isabel the got some beautiful flowers at Wild at Heart, like one of my favortie flower shops, it's fantastic and they create amazing bouquets.

The shops opposite Daylesford.. The places along Westbourne Grove in Notting Hill (NOT Bayswater side - some great restaurants there but not for outside..) are the best for people watching, and like nice & fun people watching.. It's a bit more creative and interesting here - not like Chelsea - to dull for my liking.. My ideal day in London a nice sunny day would defo include a nice brunch outside on Westbourne Grove.. (202 is also a great spot just next door to Daylesford..).

Question Air is a nice shop (still just opposite..), a lot of denim but I find stuff there on and off.. Worth popping into if your around.

Had a little Notting Hill stroll and passed by Kelly Hoppen Interiors. Me like.. It's a great place and I like a lot of her stuff / & style..

My latest creation.. It's really big for being a piggy bank. I got the Buddha in the Kelly Hoppen Interior shop and Yes, I did "steal' the idea.. Hey... That's what the teach you in art school.. Seriously, they say; steal everyone's ideas when you see/hear something you like even your classmates etc.... So, the idea I 'stole' was quite different but still like 'the basic idea' and then I created my own Buddha and I'm now £700 richer ;) haha... True tho..

My close friend Veronika was here from Sweden visiting me last week for a few days.. She got off the plane, dropped off suitcase at mine, put the stilettos on and straight on to a Cleo B boutique launch in Belgravia... That's London Life for you..

I liked loads of the shoes in Cleo B as well and all decent prices (not cheap but decent..), nice ballerinas and great 'day-heals'..

I loved the 'candy' door to Cleo B.. Great colour!

Went to the Great Eastern Htl after for a quick dinner (a must after a launch ;) ..) then off to see a band, (& they are really good) Graffiti 6 at Vibe Bar on Brick Lane, Shoreditch, with my other girl Lucy and some of her friends..

Well NY is the city that never sleeps... so one cannot do NY without going out! There was a few things happening through the festival... well there was alot but I didn't have time to attend them all ofcourse... but here are a few happenings...

APPLE STORE PARTY...

party in the actual Mac Store?!?! yep... as they are sponsors... and what a great way for them to show off their latest gimmick and sensational toy... iPad! The party was fun but not my pics... you can't see much but atleast it gives you an idea. If the party was good for Swedish Actor Alexander Skarsgard then it was good enough for me! Met lots of interesting people.

Same as London...

Must say that it does feel a bit weird being at a party with lots of booze and electrical equipment...

BOOM BOOM ROOM...

When the Apple Store Party finished...I did NOT want to go home! Instead I called my friend Richard Raymond, who just recently moved to NY from London in order to pursue/continue his career as a filmaker. His Movie HeartLess will be out end of May - Go and See it!!!

Anyways Richie took me to the night club Boom Boom Room (Pic1,Pic2,Pic3)in Meat Packing district. ABSOLUTELY Wicked Place with amazing Panoramic view! The Place reminded me of Tokyo's grillbar in Hilton (Shinjuku area). I wish I managed to get a pic from inside the club, but all I managed to get was a pic from the Toilet - the window is from floor and up to ceiling, so It feels like you are 'pissing' in the air... I don't get easily impressed by views... but this felt a bit surreal I must say!

Mexican & COMEDY NIGHT

So before we went to the Comedy nigth organised by Doha Tribeca film festival, we decided to meet up in the mexican restaurant next to our hotel...

Lama & myself drinking the strongest ever Mojitos... Shockingly strong actually...almost like the cocktails you get on those charter islands in greece...only been on one in my life and it was ages ago...but the only thing I remember was the the drinks were strong!

Food=nice... had better... I wanted a beef salad...you know those salads that comes in an eatable shell... full of beef guacamole etc... well it turns out I only got beef and som lettuce...a bit dry but after asking for guacamole and tomato coriander chutney, it tasted alright!

I have been meaning to get myself one for aaaagesss... it has been hard and I have been putting effort into finding the right one...I wanted a small one AND one that you would be able to change the pressure on... well I found her... : ) in TEMPTU showroom Suite302 in the building of 26 West, 17th street, between 5th & 6th Avenue...

Coffee time..

I have passed this lil cafe, Foxcroft & Ginger, in Soho so many times but never actually had time to pop in.. But, Me and Stephen have been around so many pr's during the pressdays and one day we passed this one and decided to pop in.. Good idea!!! It's fab!! Actually a lil New York feeling to it (except the ugly building opposite)..

It's all organic stuff and from local farmers etc and cheap (very unusual when organic..) and sooo good..

Decisions decisions..

I had an eggs benedict (Stephen an eggs royal - with salmon) and the ham is like proper cut nice organic ham, the hollandaise sauce like properly home made, and the eggs was more like an omelette rather than poached (obviously coz like a sandwich) in between 2 toasted english muffins and seriously only £3, yeah, dead cheap..

We went to a few more pressdays (will blog about it tomorrow) and then I went on to meet Lucy and this new opening night at Salon Contemporary (Gallery) on Westbourne Grove. Not completely sure about all the pieces of art (art??...) but I did like a few..

And then I left...

WoRk Hard...

Whilst being here I have been on standby incase needed for makeup... eventhough I have some spare time it is hard just going away and do your own thing as you never sure at what time you will be needed - I am almost like a Pa Makeup artist... and I like it! We were shooting Links for the show one day and eventhough the weather has been great since the day I arrive (ok not when I just arrived)... it was raining cats and dogs on the day of the shooting!

H-H-H-H-Hot in London

Yeah, bikini time in Hyde Park in April!!! and I'm loving it!!!!! 21 degrees - and remember, thats in the shade... It's been like this for weeks now.. The weekend just gone and the previous weekend those skimpy hotpants and flipflops where all over in Hady Park!!! I do have to work on my tan though even if I got tiny marks still after Florida... Getting there soon tho I'm sure ;)

So, Veronika, don't forget your bikini.... Hahaha...

After my 3 bikini hours in Hyde Park we popped by a corner pub/restaurant like next to my house and had some proper lunch.. The cheesecake was amazing sorry so good that I only got pics on empty plates..) Check out these kitsch cups though, I just lovvvved them.. Aren't they amazing ;)

Ok...So let me tell you a little story about this pic...a story that made me question my woman hood... So here I am trying to take an innocent snapshot with my mobile phone... All of a sudden I hear this black woman screaming...screaming...screaming... on top of her voice... only to realise that she is screaming right at ME!?!!?!?!? "STOP F****NG TAKING PICTURES OF ME!!! GO BACK TO YOUR COUNTRY YOU CHINESE!!! " I look at her, a bit confused as how would I know that she is talking to me?!?!?(she is calling me chinese, and I am not!) Anyways, when I realise it is me she is referring to I 'politely' answer back: "I am not from China but from Sweden... SHE then replies, as loud as she possibly can: SWEDEN?!?!?! YOU ARE CHINESE AND YOU ARE NOT EVEN A WOMAN - YOU ARE A MAN!!!! GO BACK TO CHINA!!! Instead of answering back I just ignored her... for all I know she could have been a crack head... but boy I should have just said well if I am a man then you are a monkey! (is just as unlikely of a statement but it would be a fair statement for me to say after all her abuse...!) I always rave about New Yorkers being super nice etc etc... this made me question my previous statement ever so slightly...thank god I haven't started questioning my sex...

A proper burger is a MUST whilst in the states... there is nothing like it! However, have to admit that i got a bit dissapointed...it actually didn't taste that great!?!? Well I have had proper once since thank god, so my image of good old American burgers still exist...; )

Found this great little cafe with free internet! Called RBC and is just off Church Street

Here is a little peak of where I am staying...in the past few days the paparazzi has been hanging around outside...haven't seen lots of celebs but I know Juliette Lewis is staying here as she was checking in pretty much the same day I arrived... and Alexander Skarsgard (famous swedish actor) was just outside today with his suitcase...chatting away with his friend...don't know if he was going to check in or out...

NEW YORK Baby!

Sooooooo Sorry for not having posted anything for ages.... feeling really bad as Anna has been so good when it comes to that! I have been busy moving house... and we don't have internet at the mo... not until MAY!?!?!?! (BT SUCKS) How will I survive!? I am an internet addict! Also I do need to get a new camera as well... still just relying on my mobile phone... But hey in NY now so I will try and see if I can manage to get one, atleast I know which one I want so that is always a start! I know you are probably thinking excuses, excuses... so enough of them! ANYWAYS I am so Lucky to be in New York considering that volcano ash crap that has been going on lately... and that still keeps going... 'puffing away'... I only got confirmed that they had managed booked me a flight going out on the 22nd - LUCKYYYYY! (Btw I have to mention that I could actually smell the volcano smoke in the aircraft during the flight!)

Anyways... I am in NY because of the TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL that started on the 21st of April ending 3rd of May... so there will be plenty of screenings with new and up and coming movies...I arrived yesterday (so far no jetlag) and will only stay until tuesday... : ) but hey, if my Luck continues, hopefully the ashes from the volcano will keep going so that they have to shut Heathrow which means I will have to stay here a bit longer! (ok maybe not such a great idea, come to think about it, as I do have work lined up when I get back)

It was WET, when I arrived - Worse then London! But who cares I LOVE NY!!!

How appropriate! unfortunately I couldn't check it out as this is a pick I took from the shuttle bus on the way to my hotel...

The weather did clear up though and the nice thing with NY weather is that it changes quickly,it's like the rain never happend!

I will write some more soon, the hotel I am staying at charges £10 a day for internet (way to expensive, I would have to sit in my room a whole day for it to be worth $10 - likely option...hmmm, I don't think sooo...) At the mo I am free surfing in Starbucks on the Cosmo hotel's internet thingie...( it's crap reception, keeps disconnecting me the whole time, but hey, atleast I am not paying : )

Had a late dinner at Busaba Eathai with Isabel the other night. This place is great (but WARNING... don't go out and drink champagne after because the whole bar/club will know what you had for dinner - yeah I'm serious..). The food is great and it's dead cheap (like the same concept as Wagamama but Busaba is just so much better).

Remember, you cant book a table and the queue is normally long (too long.. if you turn up after 19.00) but it normally goes quite quick - it's like a nice in/out place. And obviously thai - Busaba eathai...

You share tables with other people - which is fun coz I looove watching what other people eat - and it's easy to spot in here. By now I probably know Busaba's whole menu inside-out though.. The Goong tohd prawns are amazing (above)...

It's normally packed inside but we were there just before closing time...

Then, we went on to the bar at Nobu Berkeley to have some 'none-bubbly' cocktails ;)

Great place for spotting Victoria Beckham and other people featured in Hallo magazine (Hänt i Veckan - or what they are called in Sweden?? - can't remember coz I've never actually read them.. well, maybe at the hairdressers..) ;)

Lucky 7 on Westbourne Park Road (Notting Hill) is a place where I keep coming back to all the time... Most likely a few times a month - and that's a lucky month ;)

So the best American Diner - well, in London anyhow...

And, the place next doors (same owner) is absolutely amazing as well, Crazy Homies, Mexican food and the decor is real nice (another blog, another time tho..).

I'm really boring though because I ALWAYS have the same burger - Kalifornian - with bacon, cheese, guacamole, roasted tomato and sour cream.. It's to die for (absolutely to die for on a hango bango day!!!

Nails, nails, nails & dinner...

Nail Tek, the best stuff ever for your nails. My beautician even agrees with me!! I know Yuko wrote about it a lil while back. I put through a big order just before I went to Sweden and a big package was waiting for me when I got back.. It's just so good and the website I use is just dead cheap comparing to other sites - Beverly Beaute and the package/s only take about 2-3 working days to arrive. I ordered over £70 this time and then it's even free shipping..

Got some Essie colors as well...

And, they were even so sweet that it was also a pressie in the package. Some nail files, toe separators and some hand lotions etc.. Bless.. The lil yellow one is from OPI and and it's called Coconut Melon Juicie and I love it!! The pink one isn't really my kind of favo smell (and it really does smell like it, Chocolate-Covered Cherries.. U like??!!! hmmm...

And, finishing today with a random pic which contains my dinner that I will be having in front of my computer where I'm trying to update my CV.. I'm seriously dying here soon.. Borrrringggg.... But I can look forward to the raw tuna, dauphinoise, and amazing salads inside the paper boxes...

Itsu, it's sushi time...

Itsu just opened a new branch in Notting Hill. There are tiny 'Itsu places' all over London and it's good sushi for a quick take away lunch. They got a few bigger restaurants (in South Ken and another on Wardour St - well, that's the ones I know and use regulary). But, now a new Itsu restaurant has just opened like super close to my flat. It's a quite 'cheap and cheerful' spot - like a good chain if you know what I mean..

Started with a few cocktails and chose to sit at the conveyer belt this time.. Yummy, they had a few new dishes as well and they were good! I had spicy tuna, tempura tiger prawns, raw beef etc.. and the chocolate mousse...

The butterfly bar upstaires and it's actually quite fun - better than I expected. The room is also changing colours all the time and i'm likeing it ;) even if it feels a bit like 'the itsu bar'..

Sweden here I come... The first thing I always do when I get to Sweden, if I'm going to Nykoping, (that's where my family lives and where I grew up) is heading straight to a cafe for breakfast.. Normally Hellmans but also Princess (also featured in this blog) but this time I went to Norrkoping, ??!. I have not been there for like forever and lets face it - Norrkoping has never been the most interesting city in Sweden with all the depressing galleries.. But (there is a but..) the new little area in 'down town' is lovely, called Knäppingsborg. It's a few nice shops - a great interior design shop and a few cafe's and restaurants.. It's really nicely done though and now I will visit Norrkoping again..

My mum loves buying some new fun chickens for the dining table...

My favo... I absolutely love lobster... and seafood in general...

A lot of 'mum time' this Easter - I was looking after my nephews (3) and niece quite a lot as well.. But, I also went to Trosa. Great little city summertime. Definitely check out Bomans if you're going there (well, actually, it's impossible to miss considering the place is tiny..). It's such a nice place (hotel/restaurant) to hang a nice sumer evening for dinner.. (sorry no pics..).

I woke up on the Monday morning and it looked like this outside - like seriously white. The previous days had been like 15 degrees and like proper spring.. Unbelievable... It disappeared during the day though.. Everyone there seems to be properly fed up with the snow now even my nephew Nils (6 years old) thought it was rubbish with more snow and he normally loves it..

Shopping in Stockholm.. Thanks to the amazing airline called Ryan Air, I can unfortunately not show you my new belongings considering I had some major trouble getting my stuff with me to the UK and left all of my new purchases in Sweden.. Thanks again Ryan!! ;)

Gertruds (a new interior shop) opened this Easter on Norrmalmstorg in Stockholm. The whole concept with the shop is bed - sofa - bath and thats basically the main things they sell with all accessories. Great stuff and loving the shop but not the cheapest..

I had a quick breakfast in the basement cafe in NK in the morning with my mum.. (yeah, I'm being a bit rubbish - only pics on my mum from this Easter I know..). But, that means that I was having a holiday from my blog this Easter as well.. haha.

Princess in Nykoping.. This cafe has looked like this for like 50 years or so.. Probably even more!?? They've got the nicest 'bullar' in Nykoping for sure and loads of different ones to choose from - me like... We (me and my friends) used to sit here every day after school in secondary high school (sometimes during school time as well that is..) and drink like 15 cups of coffee/a day - it's actually still one of those cafes where you fill up your cup over and over again - 4 free.. The place used to stink of teenagers, coffee and cigarettes! Bjorn Borg used to sit there (not often but it happened) a few times as well - he used to use the tennis hall in Nyk..

It still looks exactly the same.. My dad says they used to have a grand piano and someone playing all day long when he was a kid but that is probably the only thing that has changed..

Little Secret...

I am now going to share a little secret of mine and Anna when it comes to achieving salon perfect nails at home... The product is called Nail Tek and the results are great! They come in different steps from antifungus cuticle oil - Base Coat - Top Coat... which are meant to be used with your choice of nailpolish. The cheapest place to get it online, we have found so far is at Beverly Beaute.

This time around I decided to try out their hand cream... so far I love it! It really hydrates your hands extremely well sorting out those dry cuticles in an instant without leaving a greasy feel to your hands (I HATE when hand creams feel like you just added a layer of cream on top without being absorbed - you might as well use vaseline!). I Also bought Nail Tek extend so I will be able to dilute nailpolish that is starting to dry up in the bottle.

I had these lil angels on from Gina last Friday nite and I just loved how the merged wih the carpet - and isn't it my favo carpet as well?!!.. haha (actually even a lil bit too much leopard for me - remember, it has to be tasteful when using leopard - otherwise it goes totally wrong! I went to a bday party in the club at Momo's - the club was refurbed like 2 months ago. Even my pedicure fits in perfectly!! (dark dark purple - I had this ped done about 3 weeks ago in Florida - It's fantastic that pedicures stays immaculate for like forever in the cold months - thanks to all those boots - one good thing with the cold yeah ;)

So, all the ladies (well guys too - of course, if ur up 4 it..), go and pamper yourself with a pedicure!!! You'll feel real niiiiiiiceeeee after ;) It's worth it!!!

I know Yuko wrote about the new 4th floor in Harvey Nicks a while ago.. I came across this trailer in Notting Hill a few days ago.. Like a mini 4th floor trailer that was being moved around a few places in central London - today Westbourne Grove.. I'm liking it!!

It was like a tiny shop inside as well as a photo booth (yeah - WITH a wind machine, haha) and you could have a tattoo done (no, not a permanent one..) and some other fun stuff - oh - and goodie bags with cookies and stickers etc.. And all for free.. (well not the stuff in the shop - but that's quite obvious..)

And it worked - I went down to Harvey Nicks a few days later to check out some stuff I'd seen - it's people like me they like to fool - and it works...Haha!! Well, they tricked Martin too.. HaHa

Liking the pics?? (I had a hango bango that day so I was covered in sunnies and a big hat - of course)

Loving the public toilets at Westbourne Grove - never used them though (and never will - not a keen one on public toilet) - but I can still like the signs yeah ;)

This will be my final blog about LFW for this season considering is well 'over and done with' now... I'm also being an even 'more professional blogger' now letting you all know that; My camera died (battery) the prevevois day when loads of fun shows, crazy celebs and of course fun parties were happening, haha - obviously.. At this stage me and Stephen had just been been to quite a few shows where champagne was being served and considering we were both super starving & 'dead' we had quite a few glasses to be able to keep up with it all ;) So, I can remember that I was talking a-lot-a crap (as I do occationally) but hey - but at 20.00 after a full on lfw day - that is normally what happens!!! Haha

You must have realized my addiction for leopard print. I normally stock up diet coke in my fridge and I found these fabulous ones in my foodstore today - I got 12... Haha - it's just good to have for those lazy dvd evenings... They actually even 'look better' in 'real-life'. The cans fit in in my flat for sure though - quite a lot of leopard going on here - especially in my wardrobe!! This is the first time I'm having leopart print in my fridge though.. So, the frezzer is next then... ;)

I am IN LOVE with this ring made by Lina Österman...I saw her wearing it in Paris during fashion week, but didn't know it was her own design... after a little research including contacting her Pr agency BLOW PR I managed to track it down and how to get hold of it if you want to buy it. There is one problem though...it is too bloody expensive...£395 :..( (which doesn't come as a surprise - nice things usually are!) but I want it and i do think it is worth every penny as it is soo nice... I will try and save up for it but somehow I doubt I will be able to as knowing myself I will spend it on other things...

Make Up Shopping on my day off in PaRis...

We had one day off in Paris which was super nice... I just ended up going make up shopping for things we do not have in here in the UK... My original plan was to go to Sacre-Coeur so I could catch the beautiful view of Paris... for some reason I have always managed to miss this everytime I have been to Paris... Guess what - I did it again... Instead I met up with a friend from Milan whom I haven't seen for years. After, I went shopping for the Make up forever HD concealers, which i couldn't get hold of in Milan... then I had to go to the Paris Berlin Store so I could get the famous sharpener. It is sooo good! (silly I know it is just a sharpener but seriously a MUST HAVE for all you makeup artists! maybe I shouldn't reveal this secret...; )

HD concealers by Makeup forever... the texture is amazing as it's light and highly pigmented - Love them! Don't like the silicone applicator - what is that all about!?!?! crap!

'THE' sharpener... the best well kept secret until I spilled the Beans...

only 3euro... so I bought 4...as I have a tendency to loose things...

Eye Pencil...Great because it is not white but flesh coloured = more natural with a softer finish when wanting to open up the eyes and making them bigger...

Oh and almost forgot to tell of this must have, especially if you are a makeup artist, as we all use it on the shows: BIODERMA crealine H2o makeup remover for sensitive skin (models tend to be very picky with what you use on their skin)... I went to the big drugstore on st Germanine but you can get it in every pharmacy in Paris. They had a deal with 2 for 17euro... (in the states it sometimes cost up to $48!!!) Anyhow... got a itsy bit carried away and had to buy them in all sizes...

also came across BIODERMA hand creme 2 for 3euro which I thought I ought to try as the makeup remover is so fab! will let you know the verdict on this product later...

My makeup artist friend Linda Anderson recomended this fixing spray which mainly hydrates the skin and 'resets' the makeup - great if you been wearing make up the whole day and just want to refresh, or simply just want to hydrate you face in general - Just spray on top!

On the buss on my way home I came across this funny character...OMG what a character he was... unfortunately this was the only pic I manage to get, so didn't get a good pic of his actual outfit... it looked like the He/She had stepped out from a picnic a la 20's flapper style, wearing his cane...stinking of booze... screaming on top of his voice...like an old possh women in disgrace... PriceLess!

He was wearing fake eyelashes with diamontes which was very badly stuck on...

Well what can I say... He certainly spiced up the bussride home for sure and I do think that even if he was annoying he did put smiles on peoples faces... ; )

The Mulberry Party etc..

In my bed now, just got home a lil while ago from Electric, I had dinner with Isabel.. And dreaming back to LFW trying to remember what I actually went up to.. So, a lil bit more fashion week now.. Ohh, an amazing day in London today by the way - it's like warm here now - about time.. I actually went running in the park the other day in my hot-pants and it was 'HATT'... Liking it - com'n London -bring some more of that heat!!!!

But, back to another day at LFW now..

Started the day quite late hanging in the Press Lounge having coffees (many a day)..

My 'fashion buddy' Stephen (buddy is almost as bad a dude..) in the lounge..

Actually cant remember what this lil party was for.. Hmmm, seriously quite a while ago now...

My "golden pass"...

The invite to the Mulberry Party - delivered by courier. They must always splash a fortune on their presentations & after party (they normally have 3 shows during the day and a party at the show venue in the eve with food drinks etc. etc.). The venue this season was the Orangery at Kensington Palace.

The 'spot' where they shot all the celebs (seriously - can't really stand the word either, I guess you know what I mean..).

And here we go, Alexa Chung (an obvious one considering she has just had a new Mulbarry bag named after her).

Jo Wood and Jasmine Guinness (yeah from the Irish beer family & top model) in blk coat and Jade Parfitt (red skirt) in the background (top model & Stephens favo..).

And catwoman of course... ;)

This great mask wsa on the invite but they were giving them away at the party as well. I will soon show you my bag the following morning. Shocking... Kesha (recently number one in the charts US singer, Tik Tok & Blah Blah Blah) came up to me asking where my fabulous mask came from - kinda everywhere - she did have a really good time tho, I could tell ;) Spotted quite a few celebs (my favorite work again..) ohh, yeah, not to forget, Olivia from The City and her polished boyfriend. (Kesha & Oliva on the same party????!!!! hmm).

Home & late.. Lucky me that night though - I could skip home because I'm kinda close neighbor with Kensington Palace.. (doubt I did though - skipped..)

And, check this out, the following morning I emptied my bag and found like 20 masks - how did they get there?? I could have given one to Kesha, haha, but I'm sure she found her own one - or 20.. My nephews & nice will be happy at least or I might ha a mask party!! haha...

Vauxhall Fashion Scout, where a lot of the off-schedule shows are happening, this year based at the Freemasons' Hall in Covent Garden - but hang on, is it not supposed to be only men in these premises, hmmmmm....

Prophetik, I thought this show had the best music of all the shows I saw. It was such a mix between so many different kinds of music types mixed with a live band (Man Raze - formerly Def Leppard / Sex Pistols). And it worked perfectly..

As I got off the EuroStar I had to take a taxi straight to the glam Ritz Hotel in beautiful Place Vendome to assist makeup artist Lucia Pica on the Jasmine Di Milo Show...

I Loved the collection... very cool & stylish. I am very tomboyish at heart and not into to girlie dresses and that is why I like Jasmine's designs because it is far from girlie but very feminine with an edge to it which Is very sexy but in an non obvious way...LOVE iT!

Off I went to Paris... to work on Charlotte Tilbury's team...Loved every minute of it!!! You can really feel the Buzz & The Vibe in this city when it's fashion week. It's a whole other Calibre in comparison to London and Milan...Just LoVed it!!!

'Pudel Rockare' I was laughing so much (just got back after a drunken night out so my humour was on a very low level...) I just had to take a pic of him... When asking the man in the reception who he was he was just like Rolling his eyes at me big time..."It's Moliere..." I felt obliged to google him...but hey I've learnt something...

I have not disappeared (my friends do wonder sometimes though..) & I have not "gått upp i rök" either... PARDON ME THOUGH (yeah has to be capital letters coz it's seriously a VERY long time ago) for not blogging for like 4ever now.. The reason is that I was soooo busy during London Fashion Week and at the end of the week I was ready for a holiday (it's hard work going to show and parties man...)(well, it is actually super exhausting believe it or not - and all the waiting around...). So I moved myself over to Florida (amazing holiday but rubbish weather, well expect the day below..). Apparently it has not been this crappy weather in Florida for 80 years.. Yeah true - the TV pointed it out over and over again, and damn it was cold.. I wanna go back soon though coz had such a great time. I guess I experienced a lot more with cold weather considering not many bikini hours at all - shopping instead ;) haha.. And wining and dining - had some fantastic food really - great restaurants and so cheap too, absolutely comparing to London!! But gonna blog some more about LFW tomorrow and then let you know what I went up to in the sunny Florida ;) (well most of the time that is..).

So, a lot more to come... Wait and see ;)

Latest AddiTion To My MaKeup KiT...

when I was in Milan I just had to pop into Sephora... I am a shoppaholic when it comes to makeup... I found this incredible HD powder from Makeup forever... it's so micronised you can hardly see it on your skin and it leaves your skin with a silky feeling finish! After wearing it for a while I have found that the makeup last longer also... normally I can start seeing my lines around the eye area at the end of the day,but with this powder you I don't get any.

I also tried the foundation. It's very light and it covers ok but i am not convinced about that one yet...it feels a bit powdery once on the skin and it feels like it goes a bit streaky...

This brush is really good to use with the HD powder. It would also work well with mineral powders and shadows, as the bristles are really firm = you can really work the powder into the skin).

I am obsessed with dewy skin = the key to younger looking skin... for a while I have been on the lookout for a really good luminizer and my favorites so far has been Armani, Becca and Pout (however pout doesn't exist any longer). Another favorite is Laura Mercier tinted moisterizer... which I love using to give my skin glow. I find it better than Armani because it doesn't have any glitter paricles in it's formulation - it only gives a glow, nothing else.

So after the stressful Etro show we all rushed to Moschino... the look was quite simple...it was all about red lips... a smudged red lip which I actually found quite hard to do as I am so used to having to do a perfect red lip with sharp edges!

This was the last milan show we did, before heading to the airport to catch the last flight... I had a really wonderful time in Milan - loved every minute of it! ; )
