Westfield shoppig centre..

Mariah 'butterfly' Carey swithed on the Xmas lights this year - I guess that can't have been cheap hey...
Santa's grotto for the kids...
Santa's grotto for the adults..
'The Village'
Check out the labels..
Xmas shopping with my friend, Lucy.
Westfield opened about 1 1/2 year ago in Shepherd's Bush, west London. It's really massive and apparently Europe's biggest shopping centre.
There is even an exclusive area called 'The Village" with a champagne bar in the middle surrounded by loads of designer shops - in a shopping centre I know...
I am not normally very keen on shopping centre's - very un-personal... But, I do think it is good having everything under one roof sometimes - high street mixed with designers. It is also good for me when I do advertising jobs course I have every high street shop (yeah, I mean ALL of them) in the same place - especially when its raining..).

London Xmas decorations..

Carnaby Street - some flower power theme..
Still Carnaby Street but the house is the back of Libertys - one of my favorite department stores in London coz they stock a few designers that hardly no one else stocks.. Very small and exclusive.. All departments are fab (jewelry, clothes, shoes, scarfs, accessorizes, home wear etc - basically everything). Great buyers...
The 'flower' wallpaper on the house is so cute though..

A random one... The Xmas tree in my house...
South Molton Street (& Lucy) next to Bond Street Tube.. Browns and Browns Focus are two designer boutiques on this street. Those kinda shops St Martins & London College of Fashion teachers tell their students to check out when they begin studying fashion (a must to know about).. Browns Focus is slightly cheaper and younger than Browns which is a lot bigger and stock more designers.. I will make a visit to both during the sales! - for sure! Unfortunately both very expensive - absolutely Browns anyhow..
Oxford Street - sponsored by 'Christmas Carols' (new Disney movie - am I right?..)
Loads of Xmas presents and umbrellas..
My favo... again... Selfridges sign...

the SALE is On......!!!

The best thing is to hit the sale on Christmas eve... Why? well not many people know that most department stores will put out many of their sales items before its official sale = Great, as there will be less people around.

I just LoVE, L.O.V.E, LOve my new CHLOE bag which I got on christmas eve...Down from a £1000 something to £256 - what a bargain!!! Love it even more because of that!!!

I know it looks small on the pic but it is actually quite a big bag - it would be handy for travel.

Anna is the crazy one when it comes to shopping during Sale. She always makes a bargain and always find really WKD stuff! I go crazy every now and then, but manage to control myself (even if I don't want to - It's my wallet that does!!!) I think her 'excuse' to spend money is SUPERB when it comes to justifying any kind of spending on clothes & accessories in general. She would say: Today I have 'earned' so & so much money buying this... (well I totally agree with her as you can always make money on Vintage designer stuff, right!?!!?!?)

I actually I have a good excuse as well when it comes to spending... especially when it comes to justifying buying designer handbags... here it goes; there are 356 days in a year right...? Well if you buy a bag in the beginning of the year that means that you technically are spending less than £1/day for that bag = cheap - and that makes it SOOOO WORTH IT right!?!?!!?

I shall continue my bargain hunting, and will keep you posted if I find more stuff!

LaShes Daaaaaaaaaaaaaarliiiing...

I LooOOOooVE fake eyelashes, as they make such a big difference to the face (ok depending which ones you go for i.e) & they are soooooo IN at the moment.

As New year is coming up I thought I would give you a rough guide through the eyelash jungle as there are so many different ones out there to choose from... watch this space as I will keep posting different kinds - OK here we go!

Tried and tested MINI BLACK DIAMONTE from SHU UEMURA click&check them out!

similar pair but with little stars on!
they would look pretty much the same on the eye as the mini diamonte.

They are very Basic and Natural - just accentuating the eye. Looks more 'full on' in the box but they are very subtle and not for the crazy person who wants to make a bold statement

Above: No Lash, just basic eyeliner...
Below: you can see the diamontes when you close your eyes...

Very subtle but enough to make a statement without looking to fake : )
more Lashes to come watch this space

My LOVE for flats!?...

I'm sure I was born in high heels.. I just love heels.. When I started working as a stylist I even did my returns in stilettos (extremely bad idea - any stylist will agree), gone sensible with the years though..I still loooves heels..
Bought these fabulous flats about half a year ago and I adore them.. And so does my feet I guess, haha. Super duper comfy and by Bess. Very hard to get hold of - even in London - but I finally found my pair (there is also a shop in NY, & everything is studded). Actually got two pairs (one pair was for my sister).. A bit pricey but - they are so worth it!

Fashion Tip:
Remember, when it comes to heels, really high ones or flats works - nothing in between.... (there are a few exceptions).

Xmas event at Nougat Spa

Me and Lucy popped by a beauty salon for a glass of bubbly before E&O (and some mince pies - that I didn't have coz I think they are minging...)
Getting ready at home..
I'm wearing new blouse from Temperley (I hope you recognize it from a few days ago..), leather trousers by Jimmy Choo for H&M, boots by Marc Jacobs & earrings vintage.
I should even add 'bra by Agent Provocateur' considering on these pics my blouse looks completely see-through... I can garantee it did not look like that! Camera flash hey...
Soo, I also took a proper picture of (the bra) it incase I might interest someone...Haha..
Fashion tip - make sure if you wear a see-through top when you are going out in evening - wear a bra that completely covers you nipples! Otherwise they are well on display when the camera's comes out! Been there - done that!

Dinner at E&O

Went out for Xmas dinner yday to E&O in Notting Hill! I love that place - fab food. It's an asian restaurant and it's really good value for your £££. You normally share loads of dishes with your party at the table.. I love that as well - it's just nicer in some funny way.. I love so many amazing asian restaurants in London.. A lot more tips to follow some other time..
E&O is just a few minutes walk from my flat so I end up here on a regularly basis.. There is a small cocktail bar there as well that are normally fun and lively (I think I have tried the whole list haha.. true though..).
So, this is a good spot to check out whenever in London.
The chocolate pudding there is to DIE for... Once I even ordered two of them for myself.. Luvvvve chocolate!
Good for celeb spotting too - seen loads and this summer I even sat 1 table away from Woddy Allen..
It's still snowing...
I should have snapped the choc dreaaaammmmm.. But I was too carried away eating it.. Seriously - If, or rather, When you go there - HAVE IT - it's like a little piece of HEAVEN.... So managed to get Lucy's dish instead - tofu...

You SEXY MoTheR PuckeR...

Just had to get this set of Lip gloss...SEXY MOTHER PUCKER they have been around for ages and I only tried the clear gloss but I liiike...

great as a christmas prezzie, especially as they come in different colours! pink, berry & nude... none of them give off any dramatic coloring thoughit's quite suttle so they would suit any person - they just look FRESH!

they do make your lips swollen and plump, but perhaps not as much as I would like to...I used to use something called Lip Voltage (very good although the color resembled Nivea cream...) and Lip injection (also good even though it didn't last for very long though... not to mention everytime you kissed some1 or accidently got gloss somewhere else BUT the lips... one would go patchy red on that particular area!!! but hey the lips were plump : ) OMG just re-read what I been writing and it sounds like I am referring to something else!!! All I am saying is that the lips plumps up cause the body is 'having' an allergic reaction - THAT'S ALL...

there are many different ones out on the market and I will keep you posted until I find the ultimate one!

Been doing a thing for Loreal today, a web tv thing that will give inspiration for hairdressers. Another one...

In 20th Century Theatre..

Me in the changing room - had to be next to the wall coz its always just one big room where everybody changes and I guess the other 20 girls didn't want to be half-naked on my blog ;)
Got this silk blouse by the way..
Didn't like the skirt tho..
Got this one too.. This one is a little to 'pretty' for my liking, normally, but I like the vintage touch, so I got it anyhow. Really delicate as well. It is that will be a good mix, like these 2 examples;
A/W (autumn/winter): it would look great with a pair of really nice skinny leather trousers, some high edgy ankle boots and some big & chunky silver bangles and chain bracelets and some sharp big silver earrings.
S/S (spring/summer): a nice look would be with a pair of skinny (again..) very light and very ripped jeans and some pretty ballerinas, metallic or color ones.

It is good to mix 2 completely different styles. The blouse/top above could easily be sooo wrong but if you know how to mix outfits - you are so there!

Got these as well... A bit van Trapp familiy... I can wear them in the mountains right!..

Looking gorgeous... hmmm.. Straight out from bed but with my unglamorous bag with my new goodies... Never ever fancy bags at sample sale :( But it is worth it!!!
