Le shopping..

The Temperley boutique in Notting Hill - it's hidden in a cute mews.. Fantastic house yeah?!!
This fun ?! (looks fun) museum is also in the same mews, actually never been inside it but I will.. It's just such a strange location considering it's right in the middle of the residential area in Notting Hill.. It looks good though and it's called: The Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising.. I will check it out and let ya know..
Westbourne Grove is one of my favo street in Notting Hill (actually London) with fabulous boutiques, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants on and all around it. Fantastic street summertime with the right vibe ;) !!!! Not to be missed if you are in London.. It's also a 'brunch street' for sure.. Looove brunches and great for people watching (also for celeb spotting, if interested in that..).
Cute houses on Westbourne Grove.
Feathers on Westbourne Grove - great labels but expensive (there is also a Feathers next to Harrods).
The shop at Bluebird on Kings Road - yeah I moved on a bit now.. Great designers as well.. Nice shop with books, mags & home wear etc.
Bought this Vivienne Westwood key ring in the shop at Bluebird on sale for £39/460 SEK (sorry, cant remember the original price).
If you turn the metal plate around and it's like a mirror - handy handy hey...
Looooove Dover Street Market - it's a bit like a museum.. Very creative and fabulous!!! Visit!!!!! It's a MUST if you like fashion!
Got this pillow for my sofa (got loads of pillows - me like) at Designers Guilt for £20/236 SEK instead of £65/768 SEK - yeah plus points for myself again.... haha
Crystal necklace from Eddie Borgo. Looks really cool on.. Cant actually remember the price I paid but I got it for 75% off..
Liking this laptop case that was originally on £78 but used my little tricks here and actually eventually got the last one for £19.. It was a bit of 'risk-taking' (hmm) but sometimes you are lucky but very often 'your chosen item' is gone though.. Believe me - during this amazing month (January) I do spend half of my time in the shops getting my 'super duper deals"...
Loving the stars inside.
Still liking my old laptop case - the gold fish one... Great innit?!!!! Ordered it from the US and also got a buddha case but it's too big for my laptop so I need to sell it..
Got this interiors book from my friend Lucy.. Liking it!!! (for a change - no shopping..).
Got to the Taschen book shop, Kings Road, (love loads of table books) and got a few books on sale which I basically just grabbed - the shop was completely packed considering major discounts.)
Still more to come.....

Inamo - cyber dining...

Inamo is a "computer", fun, restaurant on Wardour St in Soho. A very different spot.. Every seat has got a track pad and you order your food, drinks, can change the color or theme or your tabletop or set it so it changes by itself every 2 minutes. You can also play some games (great when I have my nephews and niece here in London - they love this place), order your cab and some other stuff as well. It's not even expensive at all and the food is good (maybe not the reason why I go but still good) (oriental fusion - my favo tho).
Soft shell crab maki
Almost finished... it was baby pork ribs..
Black cod - I looooove black cod - try it if you haven't coz its Amazing with capital A...
My sister and the thai basil pana cotta..

Am I good on my job or what?!!! ;)

How funny is this... I was out sale shopping (surprise surprise..) with Martin a few weeks ago and I found this fabulous cardigan for M (looked like Norway had gone trendy for a change ;) ....) Yeah, I do admit, it did look a little bit dull on the hanger but that's where the stylist eyes comes into the picture.. I thought Martin should try it on but he was a little suspicious (and Yes, he has got good style from the beginning) but he still did & obviously loved it & bought it.. And, apparently, the first time he wore it at work, in the first 30 minutes of the day, three people had commented on his new amazing cardigan!!!
My message: Always trust a stylist!! (well almost anyhow - ohh yes, we have all made mistakes..) & (yeah, there is loads of crappy ones too that hasn't got a clue) but it's like any other job I guess..

Manicure at Zen Spa in Notting Hill.

I'm really soRRy, I have been away for faaar tooo looong (from this blog that is..) but I have had some FUN days and I have got sooo much to add to this blog now.. My mum and sister were in London visiting me for a few days so a lot of shopping as well as some new hot spots to blog about...
Started off with some pampering at Zen.. My sister and my mum had manicures and I had a pedicure.
At Zen you also get this chinese tea (I think I had 3 cups..) made of chinese dates and goji berries made by a chinese doctor. The tea tastes so nice.. (not my sister's cup of tea - haha - though..) but my mum and I loves it..
I was too scared putting my boots on after my ped and I forgot to bring a pair of flip flops but they gave me these 'take away' ones instead.. How good is that!!
It was raining and we were in a rush to Inamo for our dinner reservation after our treatments... But, I didn't wanna destroy my new ped so these flip flops were so worth it!!! (I did bin them when I got to the restaurant in Soho though..)

BaRgaiN LAsHeS only £1!

Been around Portobello today, Fridays are the best in general when it comes to shopping on Portobello Market...Less people, more and better things out in the stalls... today was quiet though because of the rain, which I am not complaining about as Im refraining myself from spending at the moment though. I did go into the £1 shop and came across these two eyelashes for only £1 each - BaRgAiN!!!
Was surprised, of the quality, even though they are a bit plastic, they go on quite well. Because they a firmer than traditional 'cheap eyelashes' they will last a bit longer = you will get more than 1 use out of them.

au NATURAL...
Tip: this is worn without mascara, but for a fuller effect apply mascara before applying lashes.
Note: I haven't used eyeliner, but don't forget to use it, whether it would be liquid, eyshadow, gel or a pen. This would help to elongate your eyes and emphasize your lash line and also making it less obvious that you are wearing fake lashes.

for more "DOLLED UP" looking EYES
Same thing applies, don't forget eyeliner + for a fuller look apply mascara before applying eyelashes (you can do afterwards as well if you want even more volume but you might run the risk of ruining the lashes so that they might loose it's shape next time you would like to re-use them.

The lashes are not amazing but I think they look ok - after all what can you expect for £1 pound?!
Overall I think they are Great!

SHU UEMURA Cleansing Oil...

...The BEsT CLeaNseR/MaKeUP RemoVer EVER!!! Quick&Easy - no rubbing, scrubbing time wasting nonsense!
Comes in 5 different types... FReSh (pink) = Oily/combination, C/O CLaSsiC (yellow) = Combination, WhiTheNinG (purple) = Combination/especially pigmented skin, A/O GREen TheA (green) = AntiOxidant/combination or mature skin, A/I Anti FLammTory (yellow) = sensitive skin...
How2Use:Just use it on DRY face with DRY hands, MASSAGE in (it's like giving yourself a little mini facial!) ADD some
Luke warm water to EMULSIFY the oil (so it goes white and milky), then WASH OFF and you are ready to go!!!
AND NO - OIL ON YOUR FACE IS NOT BAD! When you emulsify the Oil dissolves and leaves your skin hydrated without
any greasy residue!

There are many oils out on the market but this one has been out since 1968... Eve Lome does an oil with a muslim cloth
but to be honest I tried it and not only does it smell... not so nice (ok it's not that bad, I guess many people like the smell
though, but for me it smells a bit too woody/minty for my liking).

You would use it pretty much the same way but it's in a pot, so a bit annoying getting it out of the pot as you have to use
a spatula or put your hands in there (make sure the clean!) It's like a thick cream you apply on your face that feels really
heavy... and then you emulsify it to wipe it off with a cloth...not only do you have to clean your face but the cloth aswell!?!?
nah NOT FOR ME - TOO LAZY FOR THAT!

Coffee break (yeah yeah - I know..), too much shopping..

I went to Napket for a quick lunch this time, with Martin again. They got just a few coffee shops around London. It's a pop in-pop pop-out kinda cafe, but good stuff to eat (not pre-packed). The flagship cafe (on Piccadilly) has got a lot more food than the others (great for a take away lunch for the office) and you can do your own salads etc (and really good ones - no boring salads - I'm normally not a salad person even if I wish I was..). It's like a stylish Pret or Eat (quick food chains) but with nice stuff (you can trust me on this considering I'm a lil bit of a "a-la-carte madam" and I almost only eat organic food).
Another + for Napket is that there are iPod's and earphones placed around the cafe so you can choose your what music you want to listen to while having your lunch/coffe if your by yourself. Good idea yeah!
