OMG, I'm shocked - what a sad day....

I had been out and about running some errands in Notting Hill when I got in, made myself a coffee & had the radio on quietly in the background. The news came on and I heard something about a british designer, I got the volume up and OMG, I couldn't believe this, Alexander McQueen had passed away...
I'm so upset considering he was one of my favorite designers, he created extraordinary designs and was an absolute genius. This is such a tragic loss to the fashion industry. He inspired so many people and he was unbelievable gifted as an artist. He also created the most incredible fashion shows mixing fashion, performing arts and technology. I even did a project about him when I went to fashion university and he has always been a great inspiration to me..
I googled the tragic news straight away after hearing about it on the radio and apparently he committed suicide and he was found in his flat in Mayfair in central London. He was only 40 years old.
Strangely enough, I had my Alexander McQueen oversized jumper on today (took these pics just after I heard about it on the radio). I bought this jumper a few weeks ago (well, actually a pressie from my mum..) (yeah - lucky coz got it in the sale) and I still have not had a chance to put it on the blog - well, until today.
A xx

Alexander McQueen, you will be truly missed!
